Goals & Objectives
Week Ending: Saturday, June 14, 2008

I'm pleased with last week's progress. My weight is coming down at a good pace. I want to get my weight down to about 212 lbs and I am on target to make that with no problems.

  • My numbers were pretty good every workout. I made improvements each day by either getting more reps or increasing weights.

  • I kept a clear vision of what I want to achieve and reminded myself of the important role cardio plays in making that vision a reality. I had good cardio performances all week.

  • More emphasis was placed on color and skin conditioning last week. I increased frequency of tanning sessions and got natural sun on Sunday.

  • There are less than 2 months left to take advantage of by stringing together great daily performances. How well I use the time is up to me and no one else.

My goals for this week include:

  • Work effectively in the 5-8 or 8-10 (depending on the exercise) rep range and better last week's numbers each workout.

  • Maintain great exercise execution as well as a better exercise pace.

  • Achieve a strong pre-cardio mindset and give a good performance each time. I know what I want and I know what's required to get me there.

  • Practice posing daily. I haven't done much of this since I competed.  Posing helps tighten up muscularity as well as enhance the mind to muscle connection.

  • Continue emphasis on color. Maintain increased frequency of tanning sessions and get in the sun on the weekends.

  • Keep a clear vision of what I want to achieve.

  • Perform like a champion.

  • Have fun and take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves.
